1958 Class AAA Championship Basketball Trophy Roman Gabriel Jr. (1969 NFL MVP)

In 1958 Roman Gabriel helped lead the New Hanover Wildcats Men’s Basketball team to a state championship title. By doing so he was awarded this Outstanding Player trophy. This is a VERY RARE one of a kind trophy that any die hard Roman Gabriel fan needs in their collection. The trophy itself has seen better days as the topper has both arms broken and the eagles down on the bottom each have wings that are broken, nonetheless this trophy is absolutely a beauty. Roman Gabriel was an all around amazing sports athlete who wanted to be a star football, basketball, & baseball player.
