    • 261.  PAIR OF VINTAGE US MILITARY MEDALS ~ “REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM SERVICE” MEDAL AND “REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM CAMPAIGN MEDAL (WITH “CHIEN DICH BOI TINH” ON BACK)
    DESCRIPTION
    :
    2 vintage and collectible US Military Vietnam medals, both are made of metal with colorful cloth ribbons, items have raised decorations (Campaign medal has color enameling on front and small metal piece “1960-” on top of ribbon), the Service medal has a straight bar pin on back, Campaign medal has two push-style pins with covers on its back, and these items date from the 1960’s and/or 1970’s.
    MEASUREMENTS
    :
    The Service medal measures 2-7/8 inches long and 1-3/8 inches wide; the medallion is 1-1/4 inches in diameter.  The Campaign medal is 3-1/2 inches long and 1-1/2 inches wide; the medallion is also 1-1/2 inches across.
    CONDITION
    :
    These items both have light scuffs, small scratches, small ribbon creases, items are dusty/tarnished and have not been cleaned, original boxes are NOT included, and both items have some yellowing and/or darkening due to age
    .
    The Campaign medal is missing the felt around back pins and has a green residue visible on back metal parts (pin covers, medal, etc.) and on the front edges of medal.
    These medals are as “as found”; the seller has
    NOT
    tried to clean nor polish either item
    .
