    Here is an antique, cast iron, wall mount, match safe.  It is made by Davenport Mallory & Co. in New Haven, Connecticut.  It is in overall very good condition, structurally very sound with lid working perfectly.  There is a bit of rust from age (but that is actually desirable!) and it appears that there may be an early repair to the bottom (pic 7) but it is hard to notice and does not affect value at all.  Measures 3.75″ x 2.5″ x 1.5″.  Patented 1864.
