    • This is an extremely fine Vietnam War Combat Infantry Badge with 2 stars that is in excellent condition. The blue enamel background for the musket is perfect and completely without damage. At the top of the wreath are 2 silver stars to indicate 3 awards of this coveted combat distinction. The reverse is with a silver frosted finish and incised with, “GI”, and “STERLING” at the base of the wreath. Also stamped into the reverse is the diamond logo of the maker Williams & Anderson of Providence, Rhode Island. The badge is with both posts and retaining clutches. As mentioned before, to appreciate the significance of this badge, you would have had to have fought in just one single armed conflict. The recipient of this badge fought in THREE … World War II, Korea, AND Vietnam! … and THAT is what gives this badge its value.
